while walking to trans pride i met a couple walking the same way. it turned out to be a trans woman and her cis boyfriend, who proceeded to ask me a barrage of questions about how trans people exist and about my gender. he seemed to be totally unfamiliar with the concept but didn’t indicate they had just met. i took it in good humor but that poor lady was just visibly mortified and kept asking him to stop. hope she’s found someone nicer since then
it’s still genuinely astounding that princess diana is idolized as an anti monarchist symbol by much of the left to the extent where the celebratory posting about the queen’s death was largely about her with like infrequent lip service to ireland and other nations imperialized by her regime. the bulk of people raving about how diana is curb stomping her in the afterlife cannot name a single irish martyr who died fighting against her violent occupation of the six counties. lol
